COUNTRY ARTIST by Ovation

With a 1 7/8" fingerboard width, the nylon strung Ovation Celebrity Country Artist's neck is wider than conventional Ovation necks but narrower than the traditional classic guitar, for improved playing comfort. This makes fingerpicking easier thanks to wider string spacing. With a solid cedar top, OP24+ preamp system and mid-depth bowl the Country Artist is finding many new friends.

Although Ovation has made many custom doubleneck guitars in the past, this marks the first time a production model will be available to players seeking the versatility and convenience of a multi-neck guitar.
This newly designed acoustic/electric features a 12 string top neck and a 6 string neck below with a toggle switch that allows the player to amplify either both neck simultaneously or the individual necks alone through a modified OP24+ preamp. Ovation has also developed a new shallow cutaway, 3/4 size roundback body specifically for this instrument.
