Although Ovation has made many custom doubleneck guitars in the past, this marks the first time a production model will be available to players seeking the versatility and convenience of a multi-neck guitar.
This newly designed acoustic/electric features a 12 string top neck and a 6 string neck below with a toggle switch that allows the player to amplify either both neck simultaneously or the individual necks alone through a modified OP24+ preamp. Ovation has also developed a new shallow cutaway, 3/4 size roundback body specifically for this instrument.
